At New Talavan, virtually all of the flowers we use for our daily deity worship are grown on site. It’s an ecstatic service, but it’s a lot of work, too! We have some dedicated devotees who maintain the flower gardens, as well as a couple of very steadfast matajis (namely Haridhvani Devi Dasi and Prsni Devi Dasi) who make the garlands every morning practically without fail.
